For many years now, since my undergraduate days, I have been offering a private tutoring service for all levels of legal studies, from A level law to postgraduate studies.

A Bespoke Service

I can offer assistance with the following:

  • Regular or One Off sessions to help you study a certain topic or course - This may be help throughout the year to brush up on a topic like Land Law, or to help with the full year’s course at the Legal Practice Course.

  • Exam preparation - If you have an upcoming exam and are feeling underprepared, I can help take you through the topic and the likely questions and get you into a position where you walk into the exam feeling confident and prepared.

  • Essay assistance - Whilst I cannot write an essay for you (see below), if you are struggling to get your head around your coursework, I can help you grasps the basics of the law and the relevant issues at hand to enable you to formulate a comprehensive and well formed answer to the question.

  • Dissertation assistance - Similar to essay assistance, I cannot write a dissertation for you but I can be someone to guide you, help you formulate arguments, and bounce ideas off, all with a view to making sure that the final version of dissertation is a document that you are proud to put your name on.

  • Any combination of the above - I will tailor my service to precisely what you are struggling with . No two students are the same and we all have our own ways of learning.

All my services are available in person or via video call services. A large number of my former students are international students and I am very used to utilising video call services to tutor.

Pricing

As every student is different, my charges vary depending on the service required, the frequency of sessions, and whether I need to travel. Whilst these are usually based on my hourly rates, I do offer discounts for bulk buying sessions and other incentives.

If you are interested in learning more, please get in touch so that may have a no obligation conversation about your needs, how I can help and for a quote.

Please note: I have not, and will not, assist anyone in cheating in their studies. As such, I will not entertain requests to write essays/coursework for you. Please do not contact me with such requests.

My Experience

My clients and former academic tutors have stated I have a friendly approachable manner in explaining topics and I was encouraged to become a lecturer by my alma mater.

In particular, thanks to my work as a solicitor, I have extensive knowledge of Civil Litigation Practice, Contract Law, Land Law (including Landlord and Tenant), Tort Law, Criminal Law, Employment Law, Maritime Law, Insurance Law, and Human Rights Law.

Additionally, during my education, I published several articles on maritime and insurance law.

I have an LLM from the University of Southampton in Maritime Law and I achieved a good Upper Second Class Honours (2:1) in my LLB. This included several assessments to a First standard, including my dissertation.

I also studied A level law and am happy to tutor law to any level, up to and including post graduate study.

During the course of my education and work, I have encountered many aspects of law and have excellent academic and practical knowledge of the majority of aspects that you are likely to encounter in A level or undergraduate level.
